Finding and placing this massive landmark requires completing specific realm quests and unlocking the appropriate biome.
How to Access the Lion King Realm
Before you can bring Pride Rock into your valley, you must first access the Lion King Realm inside the Dream Castle. Unlocking the door to this realm requires spending 10,000 Dreamlight to clear the Night Thorns blocking the entrance. Once inside, you will meet Simba and Nala and begin their introductory story quests.
Completing these initial realm tasks is necessary to recruit the lions to your village. You will need to craft items, gather ingredients, and solve minor puzzles to earn their trust. Once Nala agrees to move to the valley, the prompt to place Pride Rock will become available.
Locating and Unlocking the Sunlit Plateau
Pride Rock naturally belongs in the Sunlit Plateau biome, which features a savannah landscape suited for the Lion King cast. Unlocking the Sunlit Plateau requires 7,000 Dreamlight, making it accessible during early to mid-game progression. Clearing this area provides ample space to position large buildings and decorate the surroundings.
While players can technically place Pride Rock in other unlocked biomes, the Sunlit Plateau offers the ideal aesthetic match. Removing Night Thorns, rocks, and wild trees in the plateau will make it much easier to fit the structure into your preferred spot. Many players choose to place it near the natural rivers or against the desert cliffs.
Placing Pride Rock in Your Village
Once you return from the realm with Nala's quest active, open your Furniture menu to locate Pride Rock under the house placement options. Selecting the building allows you to move it around any clear land in your unlocked biomes. After positioning the structure, interact with the Scrooge McDuck sign in front of it to pay the construction fee.
Upgrading and unlocking the building costs Star Coins, which allows Simba and Nala to move in permanently. After construction is complete, both characters will use Pride Rock as their primary residence. You can later enter the structure to complete story quests and find unique memory collectibles.
Customizing the Area Around Pride Rock
After placing the home, you can customize the surrounding landscape using trees, rocks, and paths from the editing menu. Adding waterfalls, oasis plants, and custom furniture can transform the area into a complete Lion King haven. Many players enjoy grouping Scar's cave and other wilderness items nearby to complete the theme.
If you ever want to redesign your layout, Pride Rock can be moved to new biomes at any time without extra cost. Simply open the Furniture menu, select the building, and relocate it whenever you decide to overhaul your valley setup.
